FTP Accounts

Unlike most other hosting companies, MagnaCom allows Gold customers to maintain more than one FTP account for the purposes of group participation on the construction or maintenance of a website. Clients can create additional FTP accounts in real-time, set the startup directory on such users, and delete extra accounts automatically.

When one is not enough...

Gold clients are allowed to use up to 25 FTP accounts on their virtual domain account.

YOU create in REAL_TIME!

Through MagnaCom's Gold Control Panel, clients can create extra FTP accounts in real-time. You can also change the password on existing FTP accounts, and delete accounts as well. With each account, you specify a "startup" directory where the FTP user is restricted and cannot move outside. Each FTP account comes with its own login and password, which you specify when created. All additions, modifications, password changes, and deletions are made in real-time. At any given time, up to 6 people may ftp into your virtual server!

I want MY FTP!

When Gold customers FTP to their domain, you will see that the FTP server responds with your domain name as the FTP server. This is done to put a look of independence on your website.

No restrictions here!

There are no restrictions on your FTP accounts, however, you are responsible for the content on your website. This includes content uploaded through any FTP accounts you give out. In short, you should be selective in who you give extra FTP accounts to.
